Our story

In 2011, “the cloud” was still a novelty. Most Baltic businesses ran on-premise servers, backed up to tape drives, and considered Google Cloud or Gmail a consumer toy.

We saw something different.

In 2012, FreeIT became the first Google Cloud Partner in the Baltics, betting that the future of business productivity would live in the browser, not the server room.

In 2012, our founder Elgars Goba earned Google Cloud certification #860, placing him among the first 1000 certified specialists on the planet.

How do we move files to a shared drive without breaking access?2026-07-21T08:01:47+03:00

File links stay the same, what changes is permissions: in a shared drive they come from drive membership, not per-file settings. Add members first, move folders second, and test with a regular user account, not an admin one.

Our Google Workspace account is suspended. What now?2026-07-21T08:01:50+03:00

First establish what exactly is suspended: one user, the whole organisation, or an account managed by a reseller, the fix differs in each case. For whole-organisation suspensions the most common cause is a failed payment.

Why do our emails end up in recipients’ spam?2026-07-21T13:32:21+03:00

Nine times out of ten: unfinished SPF, DKIM and DMARC DNS records. Google does not enable DKIM automatically, and that step gets skipped. Check that all three show PASS under the message’s “Show original” view.

How to fix it: SPF, DKIM and DMARC in order.

A deliverability check is part of our free Workspace audit, and DNS authentication is included in every setup project.

Why did the Google Workspace price go up again, and can we pay less?2026-07-21T08:01:54+03:00

Google folded Gemini into the standard plans and raised list prices accordingly. You can usually pay less without leaving: annual commitment (~20% below flexible), the right plan tier, and a licence audit, nearly every environment we check is paying for people who left.
